Earlham’s Alumni Development Office came to us with a problem, that we thought might be solvable with a little Data Science, Python scripting, Javascript, HTML, and CSS. And we were right.
The alumni development office has a bunch of alumni information — address, name, class year, etc. In order to look at this data, they have to do it with a bunch of excel files and scroll through, lose there place, etc. (you know how that goes). If they want to look at two different files, that becomes more difficult. This makes it hard when planning events, for example, for a specific area or state.
